I knit this shawl for my mother-in-law from my first marriage (Bea McInnis). The wool is Harrisville Designs and is actually magenta despite the bad photo . I know the pattern is a fairly common one, but I can't really tell from the picture which one it is. I don't know what happened to the shawl when Bea passed away a few years ago, so I can't really go back and check or get a more detailed photo.
I knit this cable and lace coverlet for my ex-boyfriend, Greg, and his lover, David, when they bought their house in California. The yarn is a super-fine italian mohair/acrylic blend (I have forgotten the proportions). It was fine enough that I double stranded the yarn. I picked the royal blue color to compliment Greg's description of the new sofa he ordered, but it turned out that the sofa fabric was discontinued, forcing him to pick a different fabric that did NOT have little royal blue flowers all over it. Sigh... (Also, I should point out that Greg is now one of my dearest and truest friends, as well as an ex-lover.)

Thanks to Julianne for the great texture file!
