Landscaping

Our dear friend, Michael Terry, has designed some incredible landscaping for our yard. We bought our house new, with nothin' but yard in the yard, and Michael has helped us start transforming our yard.

The first project: create an entry garden to welcome people to our house. We wanted the garden to be a "Japenese" style area, and it's still a work in progress one year later as we're waiting for ground cover to grow in thicker and for the Japanese Maple to get tall enough to put a bench under. The following pictures illustrate the "before" and "after." We'll add other picture galleries as we continue to install additional phases.

The entry garder before it was an entry garden. I'm bummed that I don't have a picture of the house before the front yard was sodded and the back was seeded for the lawn. I thought we'd never be rid of the dirt.
